Years at AVHS:  Although I am new to Alta Vista, my relationship with AVHS spans 5 years as a former College Representative assigned here-This was always one of my favorite schools to reach out to students on the importance of higher ed!

About Me: I have taught English for many years in Tucson as well as a couple of years as a Peace Corps Volunteer.  Helping students learn and grow is a passion, it is rewarding beyond words.  As a teacher, I hope to instill in my students a love of learning, not only in my subject area of English, but to learn about the world around them and discover something new and exciting everyday!  In my spare time I like to view the Arizona night skies, read, travel and listen to live music.
