I didn't just want to become a principal, I wanted to become a principal at a high school where I could focus on the importance of character, where I could instill hope in the lives of young adults and help them break barriers that interfere with high school graduation. My responsibility extends past our school walls. I want Alta Vista students to believe that that they too can seek a higher education and a career.
WHY? Because I know the power ONE caring adult who inspires hope and doesn't destroy dreams can have on a teenager. And I know that as a principal, I have the ability to surround those students with many adults who share my vision.
We are here for YOU!
