Academic Counseling
Alta Vista High School promotes higher education and other post-high school choices. Students at Alta Vista High School have the opportunity to meet with Ms. Knapp the academic adviser when needed by making an appointment. Ms. Knapp meets with all students at least twice a year to go over credits, college & career plans and to plan for the following year. Through the Education & Career, Action Plan (ECAP) mandated by the state of Arizona. Students will be assessed through career surveys. They will also be exposed to different career choices and colleges during our Career & College Fairs and they will have the chance to tour college campuses.
