A Great place where many great memories were made, make the most of each opportunity, it will pay off I promise.

Hey Alta Vista, I am here today for a letter of recommendation for a new job at a daycare. Hopefully, I can get it so I can go back to college to be a social worker. I live on my own with my boyfriend and I have no kids. I will be getting married next year so I’ll see you guys soon with an invitation. It was nice seeing you guys again. Thanks for everything!
Alta Vista, This school made my high school experience awesome. I made so many friends here, the teachers are all amazing at teaching, I already miss going to class every day. This school helped me learned a lot about myself and others. I am currently in Pima a program called “The Wild cats” at Pima. I get the same things that a U of A student gets, a cat card and everything. I am studying to become a nurse or teacher for special children. I want to do this because my little cousin inspires me and I want to help children. I cant wait to graduate college and start helping kids good luck to all of the high school kids and go to college! “You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but If you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.” – Clay P. I’ve been just great! Thanks for all the lessons I learned here at AVHS. It has made me a better and more mature person. If it wasn’t for this school and its positive and great support, I would still be home, doing nothing but playing video games. Thanks to all the teachers and staff for the awesome two years I was here.
First of all, I miss this school so much. I miss the teachers and staff, I had an amazing 4 years here, and I made friends as well here. I miss playing soccer and I also miss the pep assemblies. I just got so attached to this school. Being here taught me so much about the real world after high school. I’m going to start Pima soon I’m going to study Law Enforcement, I want to be a police officer. I a very thankful that Alta Vista never gave up on me. BEST SCHOOL EVER!!! GO LOBOS!!

I want to thank Mrs. Alvarez for giving me the opportunity to continue in being a successful student and person in life and also I want to thank the staff and teachers for leading me through success. It sure does feel good to come in and see the teachers look up to such as (Taylor, Martinez, Silvia, Garrett and everyone else. I hope you guys continue doing what you guys do to inspire people to continue being successful.
Hey Alta Vista, I was a student that moved from Madrid, Spain to Tucson due to my parents work. I moved here starting my freshman year. As you would assume I spoke no English whatsoever back in that time. Alta Vista was a tremendous help to me I learned a lot with you guys but most important is that I learned English and that I went from a 0% to almost an 85%-90%. Therefore, I am greatly grateful with the teachers, staff, students, friends from this school that helped me become a better person and helped me increase my education.
*If you are reading this you may be a new student. Let me tell you that if you stay in this school you won’t regret it. You will probably miss out on some good events regular schools have and won’t have those nice memories once you are an adult but, you will get a better education, an education that might be twice as better than the one you would get at a regular high school. At the end education is better than good memories and it will take you further.Take this advice from a student who went from a 0 to a 100 in the course of 4 years. I just came back from Basic Training and tech-school my job as an Airman is now a Nation Resource Manager and I love it.
