Students are expected to wear their school issued Identification Cards (ID’s) at all times while on campus. Students may NEVER wear other students' ID's. ID’s must be visible when being worn. Additionally, ID's should not be altered, decorated, or defaced in any way. Alta Vista High School will issue the first student identification card and lanyard for free. Lost, stolen or defaced ID’s will result in the student having to purchase a new school ID for $5.00. Additional lanyards will also have to be purchased for $1.00. Students who keep their original ID in its original condition for an entire block will be entered into a drawing for a free AVHS yearbook.
