Alta Vista High School is considered to be a performing school by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE). Since the opening in 2003, Alta Vista has continued to meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). AYP is determined by our student's performance in AIMS, our graduation rate and our drop-out rate. Alta Vista has met the necessary requirements.
