 This year marks the tenth anniversary of Alta Vista High School and to celebrate its 10th Graduating Class the ceremony has been moved and will take place in Centennial Hall at University of Arizona (1020 E. University Blvd Tucson, Arizona 85721) on May 28th 2013 Add Comment  Alta Vista High School's Prom Committee worked very hard to produce a spectacular event for upperclassmen though fundraising and event planning. Unlike other years this years prom committee was a joint effort with members of both Student Council and The National Honor Society. This was Alta Vista's seventh prom held on April 19th at The Savoy Opera House (Trail Dust Town) in Tucson Arizona. The theme for the event was "Old Hollywood". Students ate a great gourmet dinner under the Tucson stars and danced the night away. For more on Prom click here AIMS Testing will take place April 9th and 10th. All students must be at Alta Vista at 8am regardless of schedule.  Once again Alta Vista High School is part of The Tucson Rodeo parade February 21st, 2013 . This colorful, exciting Parade is presented each year and keeps the spirit of the first Parade back in 1925. Now known to be the largest Non-Motorized Parade in the country. Alta Vista students and staff came together to design and crated a float and was part of the parade. Alta Vista is proud to announce that we won first place for the in Authentic Mexican Float category at the parade.
