Upperclassmen, you've voted on your 2011 prom theme and planning has commenced!

Last year, Alta Vista High School's Prom Committee worked very hard to produce a spectacular event for upperclassmen. Alta Vista's fifth prom was held on April 16 at the Stillwell House in downtown Tucson. The event was named "Forever Tonight." Students ate a great gourmet dinner under the Tucson stars and danced the night away.

The Prom Committee is hard at work raising money for this momentous event.  It will be just amazing, if not more, than last year's prom!  In the meantime, here is a video of 2010's Forever Tonight, enjoy.

Alta Vista High School's Student Council was the first club on campus in 2003. Student Council officials are elected into office by the student body. Members are responsible for creating and executing school events such as Pep-Assemblies, Pennies for Gobbles, Canned Food Drive and the end of the year Luau.

All students are welcomed to participate and become members, all that is required is a great attitude, enthusiasm, and desire to be leaders.
