Alta Vista High School promotes higher education and other post-high school choices. Students at Alta Vista have the opportunity to meet with Mr. Machado, academic advisor, when needed by making an appointment or walking in.  Mr. Machado meets with all students at least twice a year to go over credits, college & career plans and to plan for the following year. Through the Education & Career Action Plan (ECAP) mandated by the state of Arizona, students will be assessed through career surveys. They will also be exposed to different career choices and colleges during our Career & College Fairs and they will have the chance to tour college campuses.
