Activity Fee
In order to meet the needs of our students, Alta Vista High School id charging a $25.00 Activity Fee to all students. Students must pay their activity fee in the office with cash or money order by August 9th, 2011. If you have more than two students enrolled at Alta Vista, we are charging your family a Maximum of $50 dollars per household. This fee will cover supplies for projects, activities, clubs and sport programs. If necessary, a 2011-2012 Financial Assistance Form may be picked up in our front office. Financial assistance will be determined by the school principal.
• Tax credit may be used to pay activity fees. Under state law ARS 4-1089.01; Arizona taxpayers can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when they contribute up to $200 per year ($400 for married couples filing a joint return) to extracurricular activities in public schools.
