Alta Vista students visit took a field trip to the University of Arizona to learn about admissions and financial aid. They also took part in a scavenger hunt around campus that helped them learn about the University's rich history.

AVHS Part of Tucson Tradition

Once again Alta Vista High School is part of The  Tucson Rodeo parade February 23rd, 2012 . This colorful, exciting Parade is presented each year and keeps the spirit of the first Parade back in 1925. Now known to be the largest Non-Motorized Parade in the country. Alta Vista students and staff came together to design and crate a float and will be part of the parade.
Alta Vista is proud to announce that we won first place for the in Historical Float category at the parade
